Meet Curtis Dan Preece and Shelley Preece
Curtis Dan and Shelley Preece met, in September of 1986, through
timeshare resales. He, as Broker of TransAction Realty, was operating one
of only three timeshare resale brokerage firms in the West. She was the Owner
Records Director at one of the largest Timeshare Management Companies in the
West. Shortly after meeting Shelley, Dan offered her a position with his firm. This would prove to be the first step toward the
beginning of a happy and rewarding partnership.
Curtis has a
40-year old daughter and a 38-year old son ~ six grand daughters and one grand
son. Together, Curtis and Shelley have an 19 year old son who started fall 2014
at the University of Portland, Class of 2018.
Curtis Dan Preece
owner and founder of TransAction Realty, Curtis has been a licensed Real
Estate Principal Broker in the State of Utah since 1979 (license number 5469006-PB00).
He has been involved in all aspects of marketing timeshares since 1981. He was
the originating broker at several resorts located in Utah and Wyoming, and the
Director of Marketing for same. Curtis was one of the first originators of the
business practice of never charging any upfront marketing costs to sellers on
the timeshare resale market.
Shelley C. Preece
Shelley has been a licensed Sales Agent in the State of Utah
since 1990 (license number
5475527-SA00). She has been
Realty since 1987. She previously worked for a large timeshare management company and
attended University of Nevada Las Vegas and University of Utah.In 2012, Shelley expanded the business by founding Shelley C. Preece
Realty, a Nevada licensed real estate company, where she is the licensed Real
Estate Principal Broker.
Shelley is a Charter Member of the Licensed Timeshare Resale Broker
Association (LTRBA) and is an Officer and sits on its Board of Directors as
an Executive Board Member. She just recently completed 2 terms as LTRBA
Executive Treasurer. She is also a member of ARDA, the Association of Resort
Developers of America. Shelley devotes her spare time to volunteer work and
was awarded the Utah Helping Hands Philanthropy of The Year Award for Non
Profits in 2012 by Judge Memorial Catholic High School.
